Daniel H. D'Autremont is a Canadian provincial politician. He is the Saskatchewan Party member of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan for the constituency of Cannington. Dan was first elected in 1991, and was one of the founding members of the Saskatchewan Party. Dan was elected as Speaker of the legislative assembly of Saskatchewan on December 5, 2011. This marked the Opening of the Governments new throne speech and sitting since the November 7th 2011 election. He was candidate for Speaker, along with Don Toth who served the Governments First term. In a private ballot he beat Mr. Toth which led him being appointed as speaker by the Premier, Brad Wall.
